- have an official deposit in the French National Library (Francois Mitterand) in Paris
- are indexed in the following databases:

-IEEE-INSPECT, Stevenage, UK
-Elsevier BV, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
-EBSCO, Villebon-Paris, France
-Institute for Scientific Information, Philadelphia, PA, USA
-Ulrich Periodical Directory, New Providence, NJ, USA
-CSA Beechwood, Beechwood, OH, USA

 The following stages govern the publication :
- Papers are sent to the General Secretary, AMSE, 16 avenue de Grange Blanche, 69160 Tassin La Demi-Lune, France.
- Then they are sent to a referee.
- Usually, improvements are requested, and the referee's recommendations are sent to the authors.
- Corrected versions should be sent to the AMSE address.
- Then the new version is seen by the Editorial Board and may be addressed again to the referee.
- Accepted papers are forwarded to Barcelona, Spain, where the Librarian, according to the edition constraints, publishes them. Each series is published twice a year.

 

How to get a copy of one of the AMSE journals (or Best-of book)

AMSE does not have anymore a free reprint service. You can purchase a copy of the journal where your paper appeared.In this case, please contact our treasurer in Barcelona in order to get the corresponding information and to make your order:

PS : in order to make your order, you must indicate Year, volume, series, number, pages of your papers. Papers are published at the end of the year where they have been accepted; published papers are indicated on our website.
 

Important information from AMSE Board about periodical publication:
Many letters to AMSE deals with the following topic. So, let us make a statement about it.
Publications in AMSE journals are free of charge. Consequently, people working for AMSE are volunteers and they must do , first, their compulsory duties in their institutions.
This may lead to some delay in handling AMSE mail and submissions. The following delays should be regarded as normal:
*Acknowledgement letter (after a submission) : 1½ to 2 month,
*Reply from the Referee: another 4 months.
Unfortunately, sometimes, Referees forget to answer and added recalls have to be done lengthening the procedure and making AMSE work much heavier and the delay longer. And, finally, in the worst case, no reply come after the recall and the paper is taken by the AMSE Board; this is exceptional and really unfair and unpleasant.
After acceptation, papers are forwarded to Spain for printing. Contents of edited journals are indicated on our website.
So please, don’t send information requests within these periods (mostly with repeated e-mail messages) as it may even more lengthen the delays.
